Repetitive motion disorders can be a troubling injury for many railroad workers. A FELA lawsuit was recently filed by a diesel mechanic and former Norfolk Southern Railway employee after he experienced back and spine injuries as a result of his working conditions.
The man, Denny Cambron, claims that Norfolk Southern Railway violated FELA regulations by failing to supply him with a safe working enviornment. He claims that they also failed to provide adequate manpower, safe tools and equipment, or safe methods of work.
According to Cambron, his injuries are permanent and have caused him a great deal of pain, lost wages, medical expenses, and mental anguish. He seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
